Death By Chocolate This entry has been inspired by a mouth-watering dream dessert that I had at dinner tonite! Oh my lord it was good! As the name suggests, it was very very chocolatey! Imagine a pristine white plate with an arrangement of 4 little chocolate mousse-filled, wafer-thin pancakes drizzled with dark chocolate! Actually the dish was even nicer the last time we had, when it had a scoop of vanilla ice-cream in the centre of the arrangement! Ah! it's really a dish to die for! I know that its name is rather common, every second choco confection's named Death By Chocolate these days. But this one really does its name proud. I would willing die in its arms. It's sinful, dangerous and epitomises living life on the edge.

A little dramatic, you may be thinking. But hell - this creation makes you dramatic. Each mouthful is a burst of pure pleasure. It's rich creaminess making you crave more. and more. till you're sucked into a whirpool of delicious lust and you feel yourself drowning in silken chocolate - your teeth sinking into the thin pancake, into the soft creaminess of a light, fluffy chocolate mousse and finally the chocolate silk that is the dark chocolate drizzle, on your lips!

ah. hedonism at its best.

It's put me in a weird mood. makes me want to wax lyrical, to savour its lingering taste through my memory of it.

i think i'll stop now and go to bed. for fear that some of you think i've lost my marbles.

I've really got to get onto the treadmill tomorrow - or the silken beauty that is Death By Chocolate will invariably find its way to my hips and settle there for good. God forbid!

Anyway, I'm leaving in 3 days' time. That's leaving me with mixed feelings - I'm sad coz i'm leaving home and the parents. I can't even put into words how much I'll miss them both, especially my mother's company - her jokes, her laughter, her love with always be with me and yet physically we'll be apart for eight whole months. It seems like a lifetime at this point. On the other hand, I'm eager to re-embark on the journey that started in july last year. I'm looking forward to flatting with friends, doing up my room, re-connecting with my friends back there and the beginning of the new school year.

Oh well - that's life i guess. a masala mix of emotions. As kev just said, Shubh Raatri.

Hello, and welcome to my very own little cyber-space. This blogspot is going to be a virtual diary, filled with thoughts, anecdotes or sayings that I might have read from someplace as innocuous as on the backseat of an SBS bus, interesting encounters, experiences, travelogues, I think you get the general idea? This space is MY space and will be filled with anything I'd like to fill it with! So if you think you can handle the nuggets of wisdom embedded in a lot of drivel, please proceed!!

gloria steinem
You are Gloria Steinem. You are the McDonalds(tm)
of liberal feminism, though you used to expouse
some pretty radical ideas, you ended up working
the system. Because it's easier? Maybe. But
thanks for the only mainstream feminist
magazine and for heading one of the most
significant feminist lobbys in the history of
the US. We wouldn't be where we are without NOW
and Ms., as much as some of us are loathe to
admit it.

You're Most Like Carrie! You are a balance between
all your friends, incorporating both cynicism
and optimism into the group. You're uniqe, and
never want to betray that about yourself. You
will never stop looking for answers, but you
don't let that get in the way of living life.
You know when to reserved, and when to be
daring. Most of all, you're fun and
charasmatic!
